I keep meeting writers who tell me the same thing. They know AI could help them write faster, but they are scared it will flatten their voices into something that sounds like everyone else. I understand that fear, because I have felt it too, and this Knoxville workshop is exactly how I use AI as a trail guide for my own writing instead of something that walks the trail for me.

On Wednesday, September 30, from ten in the morning until noon, I am teaching a live, in person workshop in Knoxville called Write Smarter, Not Harder, With AI. We will meet at eSpaces on Kingston Pike in the Western Plaza area, and I am capping the room at twelve writers so everyone gets real attention and real answers, not a webinar where you are one face in a crowd of hundreds.
We will cover how to brainstorm with AI without losing your own ideas in the process, how to build an outline that actually holds up once you start writing, how to push through the moments where you are stuck and staring at a blinking cursor, and how to keep your writing sounding like you instead of a robot.
